Great results for a couple of the Southern Freestyle crew this weekend with Sam Gaskin landing a second place in the under 12 Boys, with Michael Rowlands grabbing first place in the youth mens 12-16′s category.

Another great Brits in sunny Laax and much more representation by Southern Skiers & Boarders, we welcomed Kyle , Ethan, Mason, Sam and Callum to their first Brits.

Squad training tomorrow at Bracknell – real snow perhaps

Yes its snowing everywhere even in Rome & Madrid , in Wokingham my garden is turning white so tomorrows club & squad session at Bracknell could be on real snow.
Usual format be ready to ski / board by 9:00 we can use the slope until 11:30 , I’ll get the bar anex opened up for cold parents.

We have a student film maker from Bournmouth up doing a film about preparing for the Brits her name is Rosie, she will be hoping to do some video interviews after training so we will probably use the bar Anex for that.

Snow tubing starts at 11:00 so we will have to clear a space for that.

Happy new year to you all

As most of us will be partying into the New Years eve night , so we won’t be running a club or squad session on New Years day but instead will be running the squad session on Sunday 8th Jan, all welcome.

The Bracknell has a brand new surface & underlay so should be super fast , come down & try it.

Please let us know if there is anything you need to practise or any bit of kit you want to train on – we are always happy to take requests particularly if you arrive before we have put out all the kit ! & even more so if you are willing to help lift it into place !!

SFC people are starting to hit the resorts out in Europe & the US. Dave & Tom are on thier way to the SFR comp in Val Thorens this weekend. James , Nathan , Ross & gang are now in Brek Co USA & here is their first video to make all of us left in the UK dead jealous…..
